Risk Declaration and Consent

I, [Participant's Name], declare that I am aware of the risks inherent to activities organized by VA! VIAJES, such as hiking, camping, rappelling, caving, rafting, and mid- and high-mountain activities. I understand that these activities take place in natural areas such as ANPs, APPFs, Biosphere Reserves, National Parks, and Ecotourism Parks, where delays, injuries, illnesses, or even fatal accidents may occur.

The guide has the authority to make decisions related to the safety of the group, including suspending, modifying, or canceling the activity due to accidents or weather conditions. In the event of cancellation for these reasons, no refunds will be issued.

I declare that I voluntarily assume the risks of these activities and accept the conditions established in the VA! VIAJES regulations and cancellation policies.

Contract, Regulations and Cancellation Policies

General Regulations

The guide has full authority over the group throughout the activity.
Walk only on trails designated by the guide.
Damaging or destroying the natural environment is strictly prohibited.
Follow all instructions from the guide and assistants at all times.

The following are prohibited:

Taking rocks, plants or animals.
Using headphones or devices that hinder listening to instructions.
Running in risk areas without authorisation.
Flying drones or bringing pets.
Lighting fires in unauthorised areas.
Littering outside of designated areas.
Smoking during the tour or while in transport.
Camping only in designated areas and respecting assigned toilet and campfire zones.
Bringing infants or using equipment that requires both hands; safety demands having your hands free.

📅 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds apply only in the following cases:

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the trek:
80% refund of the total amount paid.
Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the trek:
50% refund of the total amount paid.
Cancellations made between 8 and 14 days before the trek:
25% refund of the total amount paid.
Cancellations 7 days or less before the start date:
No refund.
No refunds in case of no-shows or external events (flights, luggage, etc.)
Positive COVID-19 test results will result in a 20% retention of the total amount.
You may transfer your spot to another person with no penalty.
Flights are non-refundable by VA! VIAJES.

Dates and Timetables

Proposed dates: Suggested by VA! VIAJES.
Timetables: Assigned by VA! VIAJES and confirmed upon booking.

Number of Participants

The activity will take place with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 participants.

Equipment Damage

If any equipment provided (helmets, harnesses, trekking poles, carabiners, ropes, etc.) is damaged due to misuse, the participant must cover the full replacement cost.
